Grandpa Eric, Grandma Chris, & Auntie Erika Visit

Grandpa Eric and Grandma Chris arrived late the night before Sam's parents left, so we got to have a big breakfast all together the next morning before Sam's parents took off for their long drive back to Seattle. It was a nice time together! Having grandparents around is such a blessing! They sure make the transition of having a new baby again much easier! Besides caring for Talia, my mom made a bunch of meals for the freezer and my dad helped Sam with some house projects. They have also wanted to get Talia her first pet- a fish. They headed to Petco and came back with 2 fish and a nice little tank. Talia named her fish "Bruces" (Bruce is the name of the shark on "Finding Nemo"). We now have Red Bruce and Yellow Bruce. Actually, Red Bruce "didn't make it" and we now have New Red Bruce. It's pretty funny to hear Talia tell people that Red Bruce didn't make it and that he died. It didn't seem to phase her much. She enjoys watching the fish and helps us feed them. Thanks Grandma and Grandpa! Also, Auntie Erika came out for a week. She is so amazing too and such a help to have around. I really miss her (and owe her big when she has her kids one day)!

Wonderful grandparents!
