Holiday Trip Part Deux- California

We finally made it to California and had a wonderful time. One of the big highlights was the annual family Christmas party in which Santa comes for a visit and brings in some presents for all the kids. Talia was a little unsure and didn't want to sit on his lap, but she agreed to sit on the arm of the chair. Brady just kept staring at him and his beard. Talia's cousin Aleena was hilarious- she wanted nothing to do with Santa and when asked if she wanted to sit with him she responded with "No Way"! (she is 21 months old).

We were able to do a get together with my Aunt Shannon & Uncle Barry, cousins, and my grandparents. We met for a delicious champagne brunch and had a fun time!

We were supposed to head home to Kalispell on the 22nd, but our flight was cancelled and they were not able to get us on another flight until the 26th. It turned out to be a blessing in disguise! Sam was able to get all his work shifts covered, and we were able to spend Christmas with my family. We spent the night at my sister, Christine's house, and woke up Christmas morning there. We had our traditional sticky buns and then a yummy breakfast later. We opened up gifts and just had a lazy, fun day together. I sure miss my family a lot and usually only get to see them once a year, so it was fun to get to be together for the extra time. We left on the 26th and headed up to Seattle...
